Topic: Happy days with Irradiance maps

Doing that long animation and thinking. well. Here is where i have to just click render and leave my computer alone for a long time. Well. with your irradiance map calculation phase it would be nice to have the automatic save function so that the map is saved every frame. But untill then why not save it yourself. A few people have asked me about this since they didnt know it could be done like this.
You can stop your calculations at any point. Save them. then restart the calculations again. It wouldnt be an Incremental add to current map if you couldnt.
Suppose you had to let someone else use the computer or had to do a pesky reboot. When you load back up your scene. Just use the "load" feature on the irradiance map and render one frame. this will bring the irradiance map back into memory. Then you can just continue with your Incremental add to current map.
