Topic: using X-Dof with VRay

Now, for the record, here are some responses to my question re: X-Dof vs. VRAY from outside the forum:
-----------------------
VRay doesn't work with X-Dof, but the problem is in VRay, not X-Dof.
Sorry.

X-Dof works fine with Vray. Vray by default does not output extra G-Buffer information. Of course, I'm assuming you're using the Render Effect version of X-Dof for this. To get it to work, open the Vray rollouts in the Render Scene dialog box. Go to the G-Buffer rollout and make sure Z-Buffer is selected. After selecting that, I had no problems with Vray and X-Dof working together.

Personally, I'm going to take Todd's advice. Additionally, here's one from someone on the forum:

strange 'se my version works perfectly with x-dof, no trick or tips just put the x-dof effect in the render effect panel, then enable the render per pass and the x-dof rollout in the camera (render per pass) nothing more!!! -Be_Design
