Topic: Reflection cutoff threshold

I was recently working with a material with a low reflection setting, and I came across this little bug.
On the left hand side is the default vray material, just with a reflection colour of grey at RGB 15, and fresnel setting on. Envonment is the good old kitchen_probe.hdr with default settings.
Notice how the reflection just gets cut off on the vray material.
On the right is the same scene but using a standard material, with a vray map for reflections, and a falloff map to get the same fresnel effect, and it renders correctly.
And here the same thing using white environment (vray reflection environment set to white with a multiplier of 50). It shows the strange 'reflection clipping' off better, particularly on the teapot.
I also tried a variation of the vray material using a falloff map for reflections instead, and the same poblem occurs. (its also occurs when falloff is set any falloff type)
I stress this seems to be a problem with only the vray material, when using very low reflection settings and fresnel/falloff. Usually this goes unnoticed as it takes a bright environments to show off the effect.
Using Vray Adv 1.09.03m, max4 and windows xp.
Follow-ups
A: It's not a bug; reduce your Cutoff threshold in the options of the VRay material.
Best regards,
Vlado
